B.J. Hill (born ) is an American retired professional soccer player who played as a forward.
Career
Youth and college
Hill played college soccer at Howard University, and joined the A-League club University FC of New Orleans. After one season in New Orleans, Hill moved to the Rockford Rampage of the USL Premier Development League. He then played for the A-League club the New York Red Bulls U-23 in 2010 and 2011.
Major League Soccer
Hill signed a developmental contract with Major League Soccer club New York Red Bulls on February 27, 2011, and joined their United Soccer League side New York Red Bulls U-23 in the 2011 season. On March 5, 2012, New York Red Bulls announced that Hill had been signed to a first team contract. He made his professional debut on March 27, starting and scoring a goal in a 3–1 win over Chivas USA in which he missed a penalty kick. He made his first start for the Red Bulls on April 3, in a 1–1 draw against the Chicago Fire. He played in the 2012 Caribbean Cup for the U.S. team.
He entered training camp with the Red Bulls for the 2013 season but was later released on July 19.
International
Hill has represented the United States at youth national teams. He was called up to the United States Under-20 side for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and participated in 3 matches. At the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, he scored a brace against Denmark in a crucial group match to lift the U.S. to the knockout stage.
During the 2009–10 season, Hill had a trial with Serie A side Bologna FC 1909.
